Emerge works with girls in Sri Lanka, a beautiful island off the southern coast of India, fittingly known as the jewel of the Indian Ocean.

We are headquartered in Sri Lanka’s capital, Colombo, and work in shelters around the Colombo area, which is where most government institutions and NGOs are headquartered. During their trials, girls are placed in shelters based on availability. Therefore, while our work is focused in the Colombo area, we work with girls from all parts of Sri Lanka. 

We aim to bring our programs to more shelters in Sri Lanka and to scale to new countries around the world.
